Terms of Service

Acceptance of terms

Your use of proexpressmoving.com and any move you book with Pro Express Moving — a licensed California moving company based in Los Angeles, CA — falls under these Terms of Service. Asking for a quote or booking a move counts as your acceptance of them.

Estimates and binding quotes

Every quote rests on the details you give us — home size, locations, access, floor, parking, and inventory. So long as the actual conditions line up with what you described, the written flat rate holds for the move as laid out. If the scope changes materially on move day — significantly more items, an added stop, an undisclosed hillside shuttle, or access that differs from what was described — we will discuss any adjustment before going ahead.

Deposit and booking

Your date and crew are held with a $99 deposit, which then applies toward the final bill. It locks in the scheduling commitment for both parties, and the cancellation terms below govern how it is handled.

Cancellation and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, tell us as early as possible so we can release the date. With reasonable notice, a deposit may be applied to a rescheduled date. Last-minute cancellations may forfeit the deposit, since the crew and truck were held.

Valuation and claims

As standard you get released-value coverage at $0.60 per pound, with full-value protection available whenever you ask for it. Each shipment carries cargo protection up to $1,000,000. If anything is lost or damaged, put it in writing to our office quickly and we will work to resolve it.

Liability

Three things fall outside our liability: items you did not disclose when we quoted, damage to goods you packed yourself, and delays driven by weather, traffic, or other conditions beyond our control. Certain hazardous, perishable, or high-value items cannot ride on our trucks, and we will identify these before move day.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Our household-goods moves operate under California PUC (CPUC) authority, and interstate moves operate under our federal USDOT and MC authority.
